Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This comedy-melodrama was yet another of Hal Roach's "All Star" films (which would have been better named "Former Stars," because they generally featured ex-stars on the skids). The fading star of this two-reeler is Matt Moore, who plays Mr. Buggs, an -- are you ready? -- insect collector. A beautiful and mysterious Asian woman (the lovely Anna May Wong) brings him a rare specimen, but she is actually a wanted thief who has stolen a valuable brooch. Not long after her appearance, Mr. Buggs' fiancée (Martha Sleeper) shows up with her aunt. Buggs' butler (Oliver Hardy, doing an improbable blackface turn) does his best to distract the two women while Buggs hides the female thief. The aunt finds her, however, and believes the worst. Meanwhile, another thief (Kamiyama Sojin) comes looking for the brooch. In the midst of much comic intrigue, the police finally arrive. The crooks are arrested and carted off and the buggy Mr. Buggs is left alone with his fiancée.
