Co-written, co-directed, and adapted as a feature-length film by Adamma Ebo from her 2018 short film, this dark comedy satire follows a Southern Baptist megachurch and its leaders. Trinitie Childs (Regina Hall) is the beloved wife and renowned first lady of the church she runs with her husband, Pastor Lee-Curtis Childs (Sterling K. Brown). However, their followers are shocked when the couple temporarily closes the church due to a scandal. Despite this setback, the two try to rebuild what they have lost to regain their congregation’s trust and loyalty once again.
