Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Produced in San Antonio, Texas by local entrepreneur Bert Lubin, this obscure Western, one in a series of four, starred aviator Harry McLaughlin as a rancher searching for the villain who killed his uncle. The series introduced one "Alice Ray" to the screen. Alice later changed her name to Allene Ray and became the last of the great silent serial queens. Honeymoon Ranch, like the other Lubin productions, was cast with local talent and scripted by Tex O'Reilly, a pulp writer known as the "O. Henry of the Plains." Leading man Harry McLaughlin was killed in an accident involving an airplane in September of 1920.
