Jo Anne Libeler, for years one of the co-hosts of the long-lasting home improvement series Hometime, went solo on this weekly, half-hour effort. Befitting its title, Home Savvy offered tips on how to improve or expand upon one's home in the most intelligent and cost-efficient manner. Like so many other programs of its ilk, the series offered one "reclamation" project per episode, from start to finish. Home Savvy debuted over cable's The Learning Channel in 1997.
