Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Director Jeremy Saulnier’s wintry psychological thriller is an adaptation of William Giraldi’s 2014 novel of the same name. A wolf expert (Jeffrey Wright) travels to a remote Alaskan village to track down a missing six-year-old boy who is believed to have been abducted by wolves. He begins to observe a series of mysterious phenomena – strange human and animal behavior, murders, ominous folklore, demonic possession – that appears to be connected to the boy's parents (Alexander Skarsgård and Riley Keough).
