This episode from History's Lost & Found takes a look at several cases of lost and found artifacts and other items of historical significance. In this installment of the series from the History Channel, there is a look at gangster Al Capone's Cadillac, one of the reasons he was able to stay alive as long as he did. Then, there is an investigation behind the many, many shoes of Imelda Marcos, who is said to have had over 1,200 pairs of shoes. Lastly, there is a look into the whereabouts of the axe Lizzie Borden is said to have used to kill her parents. Even though Borden was acquitted of the crime, many think the axe was the weapon she used to commit the murders. History's Lost & Found also reveals details about a famous Colonial artifact that was almost auctioned for $1.50 and the inventor of the first gas mask and how this invention was created.
