The second volume of the History of the Motor Car six-volume series, which chronicles the life of the automobile from early invention to modern-day traffic jam, History of the Motor Car, Part 2 focuses on automobile development between the years 1895 and 1914. During this period, owning and driving a car became a more realistic option for many people. Now that cars were more accessible, the world moved more efficiently and a good deal faster. The documentary series was produced by the British Petroleum Company.
