Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Monica Trant (Vivian Martin) works for William Waters (Forrest Stanley), a businessman who is a bit of stuffed shirt. He needs, temporarily, to pretend he is engaged, so he asks Monica to be his "official fiancee." Since a sum of money is involved, she agrees. But soon she discovers that Waters has a lighter side to him and a friendship springs up that turns into love. The day comes when Waters doesn't need a "fiancee" anymore, so he offers to release Monica from her extra duties. This won't do, however, and predictably, Monica becomes his real fiancee. This picture was based on a novel of the same name by Bertha Ruck.
