Synopsis by Mark Deming

A man who feels lost gains a sense of direction as he sets out on a great journey in this drama from filmmaker Jeon Soo-il. Choi (Choi Min-sik) is a man unsure what to make of his life after his wife leaves him and he's fired from his job. As he wonders what to do next, Choi is contacted by his brother, who has a dilemma -- Dorgy, an illegal immigrant he hired to work to work in his factory, has lost his life in an accident, and now he doesn't know what to do with the body. Choi volunteers to return Dorgy's remains to his family, and he travels from South Korea to Nepal, making his way to the village of Jharkot. The physical and emotional rigors of the journey are more than Choi expected, but he presses on, and in time meets Dorgy's wife and son, with the youngster serving as translator between the visitor and his family. Before long, Choi settles in with Dorgy's family as he embraces a new life in the mountains.
