This production offers a humorous look back at the government-issued propaganda films of the 1940s and '50s. Aimed at high school students, these videos served primarily as a means to dissuade teens from the undesirable side of the time's socio-political concerns (i.e., sexual awareness, classroom and home behavior, potential nuclear threats, and the pitfalls of communism). Titles include "Red Nightmare," "Dating Do's and Don'ts," "Maintaining Classroom Discipline," "Nuclear Structure of the Atom," "Private Snafu," and a classic episode from the '50s television sitcom My Favorite Margie.
