Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Canadian Timothy Bond directed this effort that was filmed on location in Zimbabwe. The topical plot concerns an army captain (Patrick Bergin) who is attempting to deactivate the land mines that litter the countryside following the conclusion of a civil war in Angola. He works in tandem with doctor Hildy Koller (Desiree Nosbusch) who must care for the many injuries incurred by locals from the land mines. This was one of the very first action films to be lensed in Africa by a predominantly African crew.
