Cult filmmaker Chang Cheh directed this average Hong Kong martial-arts action film, a remake of his own 1978 entry Life Gamble. Tu Yue Ming and Tung Chi Wah star in the familiar story of a retired boxer who is determined to begin a new life before running afoul of some nasty thieves. That's when the kicking, punching, and karate-chopping begins. Uninspiring and overly traditional, this film is just one of hundreds along the same lines, and most of the others are better.
