Synopsis by Bhob Stewart
Ben Sombogaart directed this Dutch family film, a modest children's adventure tale in which six-year-old Mees (Olivier Tuninier) learns his pal Tim (Verno Romney) is leaving their town and moving away to Flevoland. Mees discovers he accidentally has Tim's prize pocketknife, so he sets out to return it, even though he has no phone number or address for Tim. This leads to problems with his teacher and parents before the clever Mees finally thinks of a solution. Shown at the 1998 Mill Valley Film Festival.
