Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Back in his home village, Hercules visits his mortal mother Alcmene (Elizabeth Hawthorne) and pays homage to the memorial of his slain wife and children. Nearby, a band of settlers, including young lovers Cyrus (Nathaniel Lee) and Oi-Lan (Lucy Liu), are sold into slavery by treacherous merchant Balus (Stig Eldred). Hercules manages to buy Oi-Lan's freedom -- and, impressed by the girl's martial-arts skills, he agrees to help her rescue Cyrus. This culminates in a perilous journey towards Libya and an all-too-close brush with death.
