Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Popeye undergoes a whale of an identity crisis when, while en route to Olive Oyl's house for a hamburger dinner, he comes face to face with. . .himself. Actually, Popeye's "double" is that inveterate moocher J. Wellington Wimpy, who has cleverly disguised himself as the sailor man (complete with Popeye mask, sailor suit and girdle) in hopes of cadging a free meal. Trouble is, Olive is convinced that the phony Popeye is the genuine article--and before long, even Popeye isn't entirely certain that he's really himself.
