Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Paula Humphrey (Madlaine Traverse) is the tough, seafaring girl whose father (Dick LaReno) is the skipper of a schooner. Since he's known as "Satan," he's clearly not a very sympathetic character. In fact, while on a run delivering contraband cargo, his crew mutinies and kills him. With the help of John Madlock (Albert Roscoe), who she has saved from the sea, Paula takes over the ship. She picks up her sister, Glory (Betty Bouton), along the way, and when they reach the South Seas, she intends to settle down. But the ship catches fire before they get there, and the two sisters wind up on a raft with Madlock; a passing steamer saves them. Paula believes that Madlock loves Glory and is willing to give him up, but it turns out that he loves her after all.
