Synopsis by Jinko Labitag
Heavy Water centers around the life of Nathan Fletcher, an influential, American big wave surfer. It expounds on Fletcher’s journey as a surfer, starting from his family of surfing pioneers, and cruises along his ever-changing relationship with the waves he rides. Featuring surfing and skateboarding superstars, the work also shares an inside look at the culture of the sport and the mindset of the people in it. As a vow to raise the bar and further the sport, this biopic builds up to Fletcher's attempt at a never-before-performed stunt. Directed by Michael Oblowitz.
