Filmed over a period of 10 years, this documentary by Danish husband and wife filmmakers Janus Metz and Sine Plambech follow Sommai, a Thai native who met her Danish husband whilst working as a Sex worker in Pattaya. Now living in north Denmark, Sommai dedicates her life to arranging further unique couplings spanning these two countries, including her niece. The narrative documents the highs, lows, births, and deaths experienced over the passage of time in these unlikely relationships as they seek to make a success of their new lives. Cinematography by Henrik Bohn Ipsen.
