Valet Ezra Greer (Frederick Warde) has a daughter, Mary (Leila Frost), who is in college. When she graduates, she runs off with the well-heeled John Denbeigh (George Forth). Greer leaves his job and goes looking for the wayward Mary. Along the way, he picks up a foundling child and winds up as valet to Denbeigh, who has forgotten Mary in favor of a young vamp (Lillian Mueller). Through Greer, Denbeigh begins to see how shallow his life is. Mary finally tracks him down and leaves their child with him. The youngster has an accident, which finally brings Mary and the reformed Denbeigh back together.
