Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this hectic comedy, the residents of a boardinghouse have had their naturally competitive and destructive ways thoroughly squashed by their dictatorial landlord, an evil-tempered and sickly man. When he dies, their long-repressed urges to wreak havoc emerge. The situation grows especially frenzied when one of the residents, a painter of seascapes, hires a nubile young woman to pose nude for him. He has no intention of painting her, he just wants to get a good look at her unclothed body. So, it seems, do the other residents. Just to aggravate the situation still further, the girl is not above teasing the residents with her beauty.
