Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This color documentary concerns an avant garde mime troop and their performances. The group passes the hat for money after their political and satirical performances in parks and anyplace they find a willing listening audience. Troupe director Ronnie Davis candidly discusses the lack of funds that plague the group. Minstrel shows often follow the performances to help add money to the under-financed operation. Main themes of their acts are youthful idealism, the need for social change, and political idealism.
