Synopsis by Andrea LeVasseur
Erik Richter and Michael Ouweleen created the animated series Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, based on original Hanna Barbera characters. Moderate superhero Birdman has opened a law practice as Harvey Birdman (voice of Gary Cole), defender of various cartoon characters seeking legal justice. In the first episode, Harvey represented Dr. Quest in a custody battle with Race Bannon. He's gone on to defend Shaggy and Scooby on a drug charge and provide legal advice to the mob-connected Fred Flintstone. Harvey is aided by winged assistant Avenger (Frank Welker) and teenage paralegal Peanut (Thomas Allen). He often rivals attorney Reducto (voice of Stephen Colbert) in the courtroom presided over by the honorable Judge Mightor (also Cole). Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law first aired on the "Adult Swim" lineup on Cartoon Network.
