Satome Kazuya is the classic nerdy student: he attends the most-prestigious Osza no Mizu Industries University, he absorbs himself in his work, at the expense of any social life (which at the moment consists solely of a giant robotic octopus), and he barely notices the teasing he gets from the cute girl next door. Satome is used to functioning on his own, but he gets some unwanted help one day in the form of May, a four-inch robot girl specially designed to lend a hand around the house. Satome could use the help, but can a boy so set in his ways benefit from having someone else around, or will May just create chaos for the hyper-organized boy? Then again, a little chaos might be just what Satome needs.
