Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
This sensitive Israeli drama provides an insightful examination of one family's relationship as it deals with a son who lives abroad and returns for a visit. Oded is a young architect living in Chicago with his wife and children. His sickly, aged parents, are pressuring him to return to his homeland, Israel so they can see him more often. Oded resists, but does return for a one week visit. Assisting his parents is Svetlana, a Russian divorcee who is both their friend and live-in maid. Oded is strangely resentful of Svetlana and creates friction between his parents and her. The reason's behind Oded's behavior become a major focus for the story.
