Relena has safely returned to Earth, where she is dogged relentlessly by reporters asking about her father's death, seemingly at the hands of rebel colonists. As she sullenly ignores them all, Lady Une is dispatched to dispose of Relena, the only living witness to what really happened. Meanwhile, Heero has hacked into the school database to engineer his transfer to another school. Before he can make his exit, Relena confronts him, tells him she met Dr. J, and tells him to come to the party being held for her downstairs. As they dance, Relena tells Heero that although he still intends to kill her, she believes that they fight on the same side. Their conversation is interrupted as Lady Une leads an attack on the school, planning to kill Relena and everyone else in the building and later claim it was a terrorist attack. Heero pilots his Gundam into the fray, and the battle is joined in earnest.
