OZ's Space Fortress Barge has been destroyed at the hands of Milliardo Peacecraft, and his sister, Relena, has been relieved of her duties as Queen of the World Nation. Lieutenant Nichol and the few remaining survivors from Barge return to Earth, bearing precious cargo for Treize: Lady Une, who is still comatose despite being fully recovered from her gunshot wound. Treize, in his new position as the Romefeller Foundation's chief representative, intends to unite the Earth the fight White Fang. Despite his speeches about securing future peace, he has his own plans -- and in them, many more people will die. Meanwhile, Relena heads into space in an attempt to meet with her brother on the Libra battleship and dissuade him from the war he has declared on Earth. Sally and Heero meet up with Wu Fei, and he joins them on their journey to the Peacemillion, where Noin and the rest of the Gundam pilots are waiting for them.
