Synopsis by Hal Erickson

No, Gumby is not the hero of this Pathe comedy -- it's Gunby, a wealthy and rather foolish city dweller. Vacationing in the country with his wife, Gunby wanders off while Mrs. Gunby takes a nude swim. Meanwhile, a couple of local cut-ups steal Mrs. G's clothes, then capriciously dressed up in a horse costume, placing the lady's hat atop the papier-mâché horse head. No one is more amused by this sight than Mr. Gunby, who fails to recognize his wife's chapeau. Eventually, the dripping-wet Mrs. Gunby, wrapped in a sheet, arrives to mete out retribution, and the film ends with the local villagers tossing the two pranksters into a local pond, horse suit and all.
