This video is one of a five-part series about British history. In this volume, the history of the Garden Nation is explored through its antique furniture. The viewer visits some of England's outstanding antique districts, both in London and off the beaten path, to look at some beautiful antiques and learn the stories behind them. There are tips from antique dealers on how to locate pieces and have them authenticated. The film takes the viewer through a purchase and shipping procedure to get the newly acquired treasure safely home.
