Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The weekly, half-hour Canadian anthology Guest Stage consisted of adaptations of previously produced stage and radio plays. The authors represented ranged all the way from Chekhov to Susan Glaspell, while the plays themselves were adapted by the cream of Canadian's theatrical and CBC radio directors. All in all, the program represented one of the more ambitious early offerings from CBC's Montreal facilities. Guest Stage originally aired from July 6 to September 28, 1956.
