On this early Canadian TV quiz show, four celebrity panelists endeavored to identify a masked mystery guest, who'd been a key figure in a recent major news story. Once identified, the guest would recall his or her involvement in the story for the edification and entertainment of viewers who hadn't picked up a paper in a few days. Telecast live from the CBC's Toronto facilities, Guess My Story was seen on Fridays from July 2 to August 6, 1954; soon thereafter, the property evolved into the long-running Canadian classic Front Page Challenge.
