Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Eb Dawson (Tom Lester), versatile handyman and self-appointed "son" of the Douglases, has a real way with animals. In fact, reasons "mommy" Lisa Douglas (Eva Gabor), Eb has all the makings of a brilliant veterinarian. Following this line of logic, there is nothing to be done but to send Eb off to college -- with Lisa's husband (and Eb's "daddy") Oliver (Eddie Albert) footing the bills. Alas, Eb's academic career is brief, due to a minor quibble that mushrooms into a major crisis.
