Storekeeper Sam Drucker (Frank Cady) finds out that his safe is short of 300 dollars. At the same time, the Douglases' handyman Eb ( Tom Lester) mysteriously comes up with 300 dollars to purchase a used car. Hoping to keep Eb from being accused of theft, Oliver (Eddie Albert) is helped not at all by Eb's convoluted explanation as to how he happened to have so much money all at once. Filmed earlier in season three of Green Acres, this episode was held back until mid-season so as not to compromise the story arc in which Eb was supposedly off on his honeymoon.
