Synopsis by Janiss Garza

The third in Triangle's "Seven Deadly Sins" series does not measure up to the quality of the first two. Adam Moore (George Le Guere) and Eve Leslie (Shirley Mason) are a money-hungry couple who get involved with "Doc" Denton, a buck shop promoter (Harry Northup). Alma (Nance O'Neil), a telephone girl who works with Denton, informs the pair of his crooked ways after they've lost a pile of money to him. One night, however, Denton tries bribing her so he can avoid arrest, and the events of that night culminate with Adam being put on trial for Denton's murder. He is convicted on circumstantial evidence because Alma -- who was shot -- has temporarily lost her memory. She regains it, however, on the day of his execution and tells actually what happened: Denton had a heart attack and an office knickknack fell on his head and killed him. He was holding a gun and the muscles in his dying hand contracted, pulling the trigger and shooting Alma. This information saves Adam from the electric chair just in the nick of time.
