This video is part of a series that presents the history of some the finest airplanes in the United States military arsenal. The program includes a tour of each plane, personal recollections by the personnel who served on board the aircraft, and exciting archival film footage of flight missions. This volume features the Convair P-36 Peacemaker. The huge aircraft boasted six engines and made its mighty presence felt during the Cold War, when the threat of a nuclear war loomed large. The Peacemaker was considered the Cold War's most effective nuclear deterrent.
