Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Great Massacre is one of a handful of martial arts films released as part of a video package hosted by kung-fu star Sho Kosugi. The host doesn't appear in the film proper, though Massacre is filled to overflowing with Kosugi-like action. The principal character robs from the rich and gives to the poor. In short, it's Robin Hood, relocated to Mainland China. The titular massacre takes place early on, allowing time aplenty for revenge.
