Elie Wiesel is a Holocaust survivor, professor at Boston University, and a Nobel Laureate who's written over 40 books. He brings his unique talents and understanding of the world to this series based on important stories found in the Old Testament of the Bible. This particular volume examines the conflict that developed between brothers Cain and Abel in the Book of Genesis. Cain became the first murderer after God approved his brother Abel's animal sacrifice and rejected his offering that came from working the land.
