After twenty years in prison on a trumped-up charge, the main character in this film is released into the Shah's Iran in 1973. He is determined to hunt down the man who arranged his arrest at the time the Shah was being installed in power. When he succeeds in his revenge, killing the man responsible, the authorities assign a young lawyer to investigate. Unbeknownst to them, the investigator has ties with the killer's family.
