Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

In this documentary exploring the eccentric sub-culture of urban anglers, the fishing fanatics of New York City head to the harbor as cameras reveal that you don't necessarily need to go back to nature to reel in a winner. Despite the fact that these thriving waters were once declared dead, they now house over 370 species of fish and provide some of the most active inner-city waters in the nation - but it's the human's that frequent these waters that are the true attraction. From a cabbie who has found a new use for spark plugs to a pasta vendor with a top-secret fishing hole, these remarkable storytellers practice one of mankind's most timeless traditions in one of the most unlikely of places.
