Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This Australian series was created by Roger Simpson specifically to accommodate the considerable talents of star Marcus Graham. Debuting April 8, 1997, over the 9 Network, the series cast Graham as Elvis Maginnis, who though born into a family of criminals chose to become a police officer -- albeit a not entirely ethical one. Now retired from the force, Elvis ran a dry cleaning business in the neighborhood whence he came. Despite his best efforts to avoid trouble, Elvis invariably found himself sucked back into his old life -- or "old lives," since he continued to straddle the tiny dividing line between Good and Evil. The winner of an AFI award (the Australian equivalent to the Emmy), Good Guys Bad Guys ran for 26 hour-long episodes, the last of which aired on June 23, 1998.
