In this tender and sad drama, two young students attending college in Sri Lanka become acquainted, and the shy and introverted boy falls in love with the girl of the picture. She appears to be unresponsive, but eventually she confesses that she has actively tried to dampen his affections, which she shares, because her family has made arrangements for her to marry another man.
