Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Gulabi is forced by hard times to go against custom and leave her village for work in the city. Now a pariah in her home village, when one of the sons of the village elders falls in love with her and announces his intention of marrying her, his shameful declaration results in his death by poisoning.
