Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
An impoverished Indian peasant struggles to survive when his brother kills a sacred cow in this plodding drama. The man was supposedly jealous of the cow, but it is his brother who suffers the most from his actions. Although the feature takes a sympathetic look at the suffering of the poor man, it is hard to feel sorry for any of the characters.
