Much of the action in this Australian children's sitcom took place in fancy dress-rental shop called Glad Rags. The central character was young Lizzie Forbes (Brooke "Mikey" Adams), daughter of the shop's owner. Living in an apartment above Glad Rags, Lizzie frequently ventured into the neighborhood with her pals, Gino (John Munacken) and Brendan (Brett Ferris), whose parents were neighboring storekeepers. A coproduction of Australia's Nine Network and Britain's BBC, the 13-episode Glad Rags aired in both countries in 1995.
