Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
A young vicar (Ulf Pilgaard) is instructed to solve pressing modern problems by his religious superior. His sincere efforts prove fruitless as he loses his followers to a traveling faith healer. He and his former divinity students break into a Copenhagen church at midnight where he gives a drunken sermon from the pulpit. The vicar uses the theatricals that were encouraged by his mentor, but now he is completely agitated and animated in his delivery and outlook on life and faith.
