Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Texas Guinan, the future Queen of the Nightclubs, starred in this low-budget one-reel Western, one in a series Guinan filmed at Bisbee, AZ, (1919-1920). She plays Texas Carroll, a young ranch owner who turns down an offer of marriage by Galvez, an uncouth Mexican. "When I marry, it will be to a white man," she states rather unkindly. Galvez, needless to say, takes umbrage and instead kidnaps Texas' kid sister, whom he threatens to kill. Texas tracks down Galvez and his vaqueros and manages to single-handedly save the child by lassoing her from a cliff above. The series was directed by Theodore Joos but history has left us no information regarding the supporting cast.
