While this light comedy seems hopelessly naïve today, it was considered reasonable entertainment in its day. Glory (Enid Bennett) lives with her grandfather, Jed Wharton (Walt Whitman), a Civil War veteran. Life is pleasant, except for Wharton's unfortunate penchant for bourbon. Finally, when he shows up drunk during a parade on Decoration Day, Glory decides that something must be done. She takes up the problem with minister Bruce Crawford (William Warters), who believes that if there were no whiskey in the village, Wharton would just do without it. So Glory resolves to put the local saloonkeeper, Jake Morgan (J.P. Lockney), out of business. When Morgan's son, Sport (Darrel Foss), asks her to go for a ride, she agrees, but insists that they stop for a drink first. She fakes such extreme drunken behavior that the townsfolk decide to revoke Morgan's license. So Glory gets her wish and she also weds Crawford.
