Synopsis by Rovi
Luke (Scott Patterson) wears himself to a frazzle by simultaneously working full-time at the diner and arranging the funeral of his far-from-beloved Uncle Louie. Hoping to ease Luke's burden, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) pitch in to help behind the counter with intriguing results. Meanwhile, grocer and self-styled civic leader Taylor Doose (Michael Winters) feels threatened when a new farmer's market is set up in town; surly Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) may actually be warming up to his new acquaintances; and while planning Sookie's (Melissa McCarthy) wedding, Emily (Kelly Bishop) goes on a big-time extravagance binge.
