Gillian Welch: The Revelator Collection is a compliation video of the old-time musical team of Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, recording during their 2001 tour. The first three songs are music videos from the studio album Time (the Revelator): "Elvis Presley Blues," "My First Lover," and "Revelator."The eight live tracks are taken from concert performances at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC, and the Bijou Theater in Knoxville, TN. Includes versions of "White Freightliner Blues" by Townes VanZandt, "I'm on My Way Back to the Old Home" by Bill Monroe, and "Billy" by Bob Dylan, as well as previously unreleased versions of "Witchita" and "Pochahontas." Both the music videos and the live songs are recorded in black-and-white. Also includes a bonus presentation of "I Want to Sing That Rock and Roll."
