Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

An early cowboy hero/comic sidekick Western, this serial released in 15 chapters starred one of Universal's many also-ran stars, Pete Morrison, and elderly comic Frank Rice. The two played Laughing Larry Lewton and Sagebrush Hilton, respectively, a couple of desert rats coming to the aid of pretty Alice Sinclair (Margaret Morris), whose Ghost City Ranch in Sunshine Valley is threatened by Jasper Harwell (Bud Osborne) and his gang of cutthroats. A minor effort in all aspects, Ghost City was written by two of Universal's busiest hacks, Carl Coolidge and George W. Pyper, and also featured stunt pilot Al Wilson, WAMPAS Baby Star Lola Todd, bearded Slim Cole, and Mexican actor Valerio Olivo.
