Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This year-long British children's show was a vehicle for popular puppet character Ollie Beak, who'd ascended to stardom on the long-running Basil Brush. Essentially a bandstand program, the weekly, 25-minute series offered live performances of the latest hit tunes, though not always by the original artists. A brace of human co-hosts and an enthusiastic studio audience rounded out the cast list. Get It Together was seen courtesy of Granada Television beginning April 6, 1977.
